Dripperone instructions
Follow the instructions below to get a great cup of coffee
What do you need:
- a scale, a good grinder, an electric kettle suitable for pouring water, your stainless steel filter on your coffee maker and a chronometer
- 400 ml of water from 90 to 94 degrees (avoid tap water, use water with good balance between minerals)
- 25 grams of light roasted, coarsely ground coffee
Remember: the steel filter holds up to 300 microns… if you grind the coffee too fine, you’ll find ground in your drink!
- Store the steel filter above your coffeemaker;
- rinse generously with hot water, to heat the filter and the carafe, drop the water;
- place ground coffee in the filter, level it well and put it all on the scale;
- ready with the stopwatch? Go!
- Pour the first 50 grams of water, blooming all the coffee well, and wait 30 seconds;
- pour another 115 grams of water, and wait 20 seconds;
- another 115 grams, another 20 seconds;
- another 120 grams… done!
If grinding and temperature are correct, you should spend between 3 and 4 minutes in total. Otherwise…. adjust the grinding size.
Remove the stainless steel filter, rinse it immediately as you wait for your coffee to cool a little. Serve in hot cups.
